What we do
The Human-Animal Connection is a non-profit organization that brings people and therapy animals together for the benefit of both. The program is free for Veterans, Active Duty, First Responders, Health Care Providers and anyone feeling stress in the line of duty. These therapeutic interactions relieve stress, restore resilience and increase enthusiasm for life. This work has been presented to over
4,000 Service members.

Genie's birthday is on Jan 31, and our adopted mini-donkeys will be here to celebrate. We are having a "meet the donkeys" on Saturday, Feb 1 — a drop-in open donkey barn, 3-5 PM.

​Dancing with Donkeys playfully explores Presence through the alternation of stillness and subtle "micro-movements" inspired by donkeys. The event is from noon to 1 pm. Event cost is $30

If you have a deep love for animals and are eager to enhance your ability to truly connect and communicate with them, this course is perfect for you. Throughout this four-week experience, we’ll begin by exploring the rich emotional lives of animals and uncovering how they communicate with us. You’ll learn how to tap into your own “Animal Nature,” opening the door to their world of subtle and powerful emotions.
