ABOUT THE HUMAN-ANIMAL CONNECTION

We bring people and animals together

for the healing of both

We work with individuals, groups, and organizations in workshops, classes, and private consultations.  We work with a number of natural, holistic methods that promote healing and transformation.  We help people to deepen their relationship with the animals in their lives.  We show people how to increase communication, connection and transform dynamics in the relationship.  We use all positive, cooperative methods, and do not override the animal's readiness or opinion.  We use a cooperative method of teaching animals that builds trust and mutual understanding.

OUR IMPACT

Change is possible.  Healing is possible.  We have worked with over 4,000 US Service Members, have volunteered thousands of hours in animal shelters, rescues, and sanctuaries and helped hundreds of people interested in deepening their connection with the animal who shares their life.  We have seen that no matter what happened in the past, the present is powerful.  We can reverse the impact of trauma with effective tools of healing.  Animals want to connect, to communicate, to be understood, and to share love.

WE BELIEVE

Honoring Animal Wisdom makes us better humans.

Animals are sentient beings.

Animals can heal from trauma.

What happened in the past does not have to dictate the future.

Trust lost can be regained and rebuilt.

Love can soften and transform pain.

Animals can heal from trauma.

Every animal is unique.

Animals have thoughts, feelings, moods, opinions, and desires.

Animals have consciousness.

Animals can and do help heal humans.

Humans can and do help heal animals.

Animals have done a great service to humanity.

It is time for humanity to treat animals with greater respect.

All animals deserve to live their lives with dignity, respect, and peace.

Animals have much to teach Humans.

Animals and humans can communicate with or without words.

Animals are more than his or her past, and that change is possible.

Every animal is unique.  And that animals have a specific, individual purpose.

Animals communicate with each other in ways that we don't fully understand.

Intuition allows us to enter the animal's world and to communicate on deeper levels.

We believe that all animals are sacred.

Animals are connected to the Earth in ways we don't fully understand.

Animals can show us how to love in deeper ways.

We believe that sharing love with an animal changes us both.
