About Genie Joseph, PhD
Genie Joseph is an Animal Chaplain, a Certified Trust Technique Practitioner, a Reiki Master, an Energy Healer, and an Animal Communicator. She is a dog trainer who focuses on improving the relationship between animals and their people. Genie is the Executive Director of The Human-Animal Connection, a non-profit organization that brings therapy animals into high schools to veterans and emergency responders. A certified Pet Food Nutition Specialist, Genie is the author of Wholesome Canine Cuisine - Homemade Healthy Dog Food and Treats and The Human-Animal Connection. She has over a thousand hours volunteering in animals shelters helping shy and traumatized dogs become adoptable. Genie has worked with over 4,000 service members and veterans and was given President Obama's Silver Volunteer Service Award for this work.
